1977, when I founded SEKEM along with my family, I had a vision: A community of people of all nations and cultures who work together and learn to cultivate the earth and serve the community.

The results of this work are happy children with good education, people who learn with enthusiasm and who pursue meaningful work, more than 200 Demeter farms in Egypt and many biodynamic SEKEM products now also available in Europe.

The SEKEM Farm is the starting point and center of our work in Egypt. Here are over 30 years grown products such as fresh fruit and vegetables, medicinal herbs, grain and feed bio-dynamic. So we could include compost production with professional over the years transformed the desert into fertile soil.

Participation in SEKEM

We welcome interested parties who wish to contribute their expertise in SEKEM. For your advance information: Participation in SEKEM is generally possible only for a period of at least one year. Condition also completed vocational training (agriculture, manufacturing, IT, music) is.
